Gloria is a short film about dementia, community, and one Chinese woman’s enduring love of learning.
Shot on 16mm in the San Francisco Bay Area, Gloria made its world premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. The film won both the Narrative Short Jury Award and Audience Award at the 2025 Austin American Film Festival before making its West Coast premiere at HollyShorts Film Festival.
September screenings will take place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Big Sky, Montana.
