Emily Kuroda’s vast television credits include 7 years as Mrs. Kim in Gilmore Girls, as well as All Rise, The Good Doctor, The Resident, Drop Dead Diva (as Margaret Cho’s mom), and most recently, The Power on Amazon. Recent films include Strange World, Kimi, Porcupine, Take the 10 (as Adam Samberg’s nanny), Party Boat (as Sung Kang’s alcoholic mom), and the upcoming Flowervale Street with Anne Hathaway. In theater, Emily has performed at TheatreWorks (Happy Pleasant Valley, Tiger Style, Language Archive, Calligraphy), Seattle Rep (The Skin of our Teeth, The Ballad of Yachiyo), South Coast Rep (Tiger Style, Fast Company, Our Town, Ballad of Yachiyo), New York Theatre Workshop (Endlings), Yale Rep (Today is My Birthday), as well as over 45 productions at East West Players.
